You asked and we answered! Today's episode kicks off with a great question about Bipolar and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. We talked about using medications with or without natural medicine, how these issues relate to thyroid disease and what genetic testing is super important here. We got asked a biggie: how do you actually quit foods that make you feel like garbage? You can bet we had a ton to say about that! And we fielded a belly fat question from a listener who is doing it all: grad school, single parenting and ultra-marathons. Whoa! We got tired from just reading her story! Tune in and hear all the good stuff.

Whoa do we get into it today! Hear what Sarah and Dr Brooke think of vegan and vegetarian diets, if we thinks meds like SSRIs are ever the answer, how to eat and sleep with a newborn, PCOS nutrition for breastfeeding (is the answer actually more carbs??), what to do about frustrating menopausal weight gain and just how bad is it not to get a period?

The podcast can officially be over now cuz it's going to be hard to top this episode. OK this won't be the last episode - promise! But today we we have Dr Brooke's spirit animal: the one, the only, The KSD.

Krista Scott-Dixon (or Dr. Krista Scott-Dixon to be exact) joins Dr Brooke today to talk all about resiliency. How you get through stuff, how you grow, how you weather the storm, how you be all like a rubber band and get totally stretched to the max and somehow bounce back. Resiliency, heartiness and how you should spend your "care units".  We also talk about Grandma Ruby, who will quite possibly be your new hero.

In addition to being one of the smartest, sanest women in nutrition and training world, Krista has a knack for dropping these little zen bombs. I told my husband all I wanted for Christmas was to somehow be able to carry Krista around in my pocket. Listen and you'll see why.

Krista has an amazing blog at Stumptuous.com and she is a key team member at the incredible Precision Nutrition where she creates much of the training for the growing tribe of PN Coaches.
