Stress, it’s terrible right? Yes…and surprisingly, no. Turns out while chronic stress is of course really hard on our health and our hormones, much of the daily stress we experience could be transformed by taking a different perspective on stress. Our mindset when it comes to the stress of daily living and even the big stresses will profoundly impact not only our physiology around stress but our day to day experience of overwhelm vs. contentment.

 

In this episode I share the cocktail of hormones that is released when we’re stressed and what we can do to harness growth, connection and meaning from our stressful experiences vs. feeling like a failure because we still have “so much stress” in our lives. There’s an upside to stress and we can’t eliminate all of our stress, so let’s learn to get better at it.
