With your host Dr Brooke Kalanick, functional medicine doctor and female hormone expert, you’ll sift through the nonsense and get to what matters most for your hormones and your happiness. Deep dive with expert interviews as well as Dr. Brooke’s solo episodes will give you the solutions you need. Dr Brooke is a speaker, author, and unlike most online experts: still a doc in full-time practice working with real women every day. Like you, she is navigating the moving target that is female hormones through the years and trying to live life more like interval training vs. a marathon: work hard but also recover, learning when to have more grit or when to have more grace. Oh, and also trying not to give her kids too much to talk about in therapy someday. Her promise to you is at least one actionable takeaway from each episode to help you BETTER today. When we started this podcast we wanted to talk about more than just hormones and going to the gym because women’s lives are so much bigger than all that. Today’s episode isn’t about lifting weights or not eating gluten or body image, it’s about money. But it does have a healthy, wellness spin because what’s a bigger source of stress than finances???? And women, let’s be real honest here: many of us aren’t all that great with money.

 

Today’s guest tells us why women struggle in this area, how they can do better and helps us see that we never really “learned money” – and we should! Krisstina Wise joins us today and tells her story of balancing money and health and why investing in YOUR BODY is her number one suggestion for women to be truly wealthy.
